SCOPE

ISODA 2027 is an international forum for advancing organisational semiotics as a distinctive theoretical and methodological foundation for understanding, designing, and transforming organisations in an increasingly digital world. The conference welcomes rigorous conceptual, methodological, empirical, and applied research that develops semiotic perspectives on organisational practices, information systems, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. It also encourages interdisciplinary dialogue and complementary contributions from the wider field of business informatics where they extend, challenge, or provide relevant context for the conference’s core focus on organisational semiotics. We particularly welcome work that advances theory, introduces innovative methods, generates robust empirical insights, or demonstrates the practical value of organisational semiotics in addressing contemporary organisational and technological challenges.
