SCOPE
Emerging digital technologies continue to disrupt business models, systems, strategies and operations. As digital technologies have become critical tools for business sustenance, it is imperative to explore the synergy between emerging disruptive technologies and sustainable business. There is ongoing debate as to whether digital technologies are resilient and immune to breakdowns to ensure non-disruptive business operations. In addition, questions have been raised as to whether businesses are resilience or have systems, models and strategies to ensure that the diffusion of disruptive technologies will not affect the performance of businesses. This conference track seeks to contribute to the debate on how businesses can achieve resilience and sustainability in the face of emerging disruptive digital technologies such as generative artificial intelligence (GenAI).
