SCOPE
The workshop explores the increasing application of big data analytics (BDA), in improving response time, patient-based service, detecting and mitigating diseases, and generating new insights into spreading diseases. BDA gives vast possibilities to gain insight into historical data, the ability to predict the future, and demonstrates the variety of specimens and their momentum, which are evidence-based using artificial intelligence (AI). The application of AI in healthcare spans a wide spectrum including disease treatment, disease diagnosis and prognosis, patient care, drug design, real-time health monitoring, health systems management and planning, and health systems governance. Big data, in its broad form, is central to the application of AI in healthcare.
