This emerging field poses new challenges to the research community such as faster time-to-market, quality of wireless information, security concerns, and others.
Following the success of the first WIS-2002 in Spain and WIS-2003 in France, this workshop will serve as a forum for researchers and practitioners to meet and share expertise in this emerging field.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Innovative wireless applications, protocols, and systems
- Applications for the mobile enterprise
- Middleware for wireless information systems
- Location-based wireless services
- Context-aware wireless services
- Agents for wireless information systems
- Databases for wireless information systems
- Data mining in wireless information systems
- Design techniques and tools for wireless information systems
- Mobile commerce
-· QoS for wireless data services
-· Wireless information architectures
- Wireless security and privacy
- Papers on related topics are also welcome
