Organised by the School of Computing of Staffordshire University, UK, and the Escola Superior de Tecnologia of the Instituto Politécnico of Setúbal, Portugal.

Location: Stafford is the birthplace of Izaak Walton, author of one of the most popular books in the English language, The Complete Angler. Stafford lies in the heart of rural England and is the county town with a population of around 60,000. The School of Computing of Staffordshire University is one of the largest and oldest computing degree awarding departments in the country. ICEIS 2000 will be held in the Octagon at the University's Stafford campus.
