Valérie Monfort is an Assistant Professor, University of Paris1 Panthéon Sorbonne France and researcher in LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201. Before starting an academic carrier she works for 20 years in industry as an architect for big companies as: IBM, Airbus, Bouygues Telecom, BNP, MMAetc. Her research topics are Web semantics, context, MDD, SOA, social networks and BPI.

SCOPE
Web Intelligence (WI) has been recognized as a new direction for scientific research and devel-opment to explore the fundamental roles as well as practical impacts of Artificial Intelligence (AI) [E.g., knowledge representation, planning, knowledge discovery and data mining, intelligent agents, and social network intelligence) and advanced Information Technology (IT) [E.g., wire-less networks, ubiquitous devices, social networks, semantic Web, wisdom Web, and da-ta/knowledge grids) on the next generation of Web-empowered products, systems, services, and activities. It is one of the most important as well as promising IT research fields in the era of Web, agent intelligence and virtual communities.
