Workshop Background and Goals
ERP implementation projects ask for major financial investments of organisations. They impact many processes and employees of an organisation and require significant organisational change. ERP implementations are not only a pervasive phenomenon from a financial point of view, but they also embed a high level of complexity from an engineering, a technical, and an organisational perspective. As a consequence heterogeneous managerial competences are required. This workshop addresses in particular approaches, methods and techniques to investigate and analyse these management aspects of ERP implementation projects.

Submitted papers will be evaluated on the basis of significance, originality, technical quality, and exposition. Papers should clearly establish the research contribution, and relation to previous research. Position and survey papers are also welcome

Topics of interests include (but are not limited to):
• project management
• human and organizational factors
• critical success factors (CSF) and critical failure factors (CFF)
• change management
• implementation characteristics in SMEs
• implementation scenarios
• risk management
• risk analysis
• cost estimation
• IT service specification
• ITIL applications
• service level agreements
• power and politics in ERP implementations
• metrics and measurement
• implementation improvement
• maturity levels of ERP implementation
• ERP maintenance
• case studies on successful & failed implementations
• role of the IS function during implementation
• methodological aspects of ERP research
• business process management

Format of the Workshop
The workshop will comprise invited talks and oral presentations of previously submitted papers that went through a double peer review process.

Workshop Proceedings
All accepted papers will be published in a workshop proceedings book with an ISBN#, which will be printed by INSTICC Press. The proceedings will be available at the time of the workshop.

Submission of Papers
Prospective authors are invited to submit proposals for oral presentation in any of the areas listed above. Submissions can be: regular papers, work in progress by Ph.D. students, and experience reports from practitioners. Please indicate clearly which of the three categories of papers your submission belongs to. Instructions for preparing the manuscript (in Word and Latex format) are available at the ICEIS web site. Postscript/RTF versions of the manuscript should be submitted thru ICEIS web-based paper submission procedure.
