Call for Workshops

Proposal for workshops should cover timely topics related to the following tracks of the Conference:

1. Enterprise Database Technology and its Applications
2. Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support Systems
3. Systems Analysis and Specification
4. Internet and Electronic Commerce

IMPORTANT DEADLINES

Paper Submissions - 31st January 2000
Author Notification - 30th March 2000
Final Submissions - 30th April 2000

WORKSHOP FORMAT

The workshop is targeted to bridge the gap between theory and applications. It could include a varied format of presentations, demos, panel, roundtable forum, and open discussion; the intention is to involve workshop participants in the discussion.

Proposals for workshops should be two to three pages in length and should contain:

• A brief technical description of the technical issues that the workshop wishes to address
• A statement explaining why the workshop is of interest this time.
• The name, address, fax number and e-mail of one member of the Workshop Organising Committee who is designated the contact person.
• If available, a list of previously organised related workshops by any of the Workshop Organising Committee.
• If possible, a list of potential attendees, in case the proposal of the workshop being accepted
• A schedule for organising the workshop and a preliminary agenda
• A list of any special requirements (e.g. audio-visual equipment, technical requirements, special room requirements)
