Workshop Background and Goals
ERP implementation projects ask for major financial investments of
organisations. They impact many processes and employees of an organisation
and require significant organisational change. ERP implementations are not
only a pervasive phenomenon from a financial point of view, but they also
embed a high level of complexity from an engineering, a technical, and an
organisational perspective. As a consequence heterogeneous managerial
competences are required. This workshop addresses in particular approaches,
methods and techniques to investigate and analyse these management aspects
of ERP implementation projects.
Submitted papers will be evaluated on the basis of significance,
originality, technical quality, and exposition. Papers should clearly
establish the research contribution, and relation to previous research.
Position and survey papers are also welcome
Topics of
interests include (but are not limited to):
• project management
• human and organizational factors
• critical success factors (CSF) and critical failure factors (CFF)
• change management
• implementation characteristics in SMEs
• implementation scenarios
• risk management
• risk analysis
• cost estimation
• IT service specification
