The Best Student Paper Award - A prize money of US$1,000, offered to the best paper of the conference, in any area, presented by a speaker who is registered to ICEIS as a student (graduate, MSc or PhD). The decision should be taken by the organising committee based on the evaluation produced by the conference program committee. |
ICEIS 1999
The
Best Student Paper Award
- A prize money of US$1,000, offered
by CGD to the best paper of the conference, in any area, presented by a speaker
who is registered to ICEIS as a student (graduate, MSc or PhD). The decision
should be taken by the organising committee based on the evaluation produced by
the conference program committee.
The winner was Sotirios Terzis with the
paper: "The Future of Enterprise Groupware Applications".
The
Software Award
- A software package, in the entreprise
decision support systems area, yet to be specified, offered by ORACLE Portugal
to the author of the best paper submitted and presented at the Conference site.
Author has to be a portuguese native. The decision should be taken by a special
committee, that includes representatives of the organisation commitee and an
Oracle Portugal representative.
The winner was Orlando Belo with the paper:
"Gathering the Right Information at the Right Time".
ICEIS 2000
The Best Paper Award was given to Isabel Milho.
The Runners Up Paper Award was given to David Thomas.
