Brief Bio Allel Hadjali is Full Professor in Computer Science at the National Engineering School for Mechanics and Aerotechnics (ISAE-ENSMA), Poitiers, France. He is a member of the Data and Model Engineering research team of the Laboratory of Computer Science and Automatic Control for Systems (LIAS). His main area of research falls within Data Science field, and more specifically, the research topics related to Data Exploitation and Analysis (sensor data, semantic data, incomplete data), Knowledge Extraction and Recommendation. His current research interests include Soft Computing and Computational Intelligence in Databases (Cooperative/Intelligent Databases, Data fusion/integration, Data quality, Data Uncertainty, Data Privacy and Trust), Machine Learning-based Recommendation, Explainable Artificial Intelligence. His recent works were published in well-known journals (e.g., Applied Soft Computing, Knowledge and Information Systems, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, International Journal of Intelligent Systems, Journal of Intelligent Information Systems). He also published several papers in International Conferences (e.g., ESWC, ICTAI, WISE, Fuzz-IEEE, DEXA, FQAS, SUM, ISMIS, IPMU, CoopIS, IFSA, ACM SAC). He co-organized several special sessions, e.g., « Advances in Data Management in the Context of Incomplete Databases » in conjunction with IFSA (2015) Conference and « Uncertainty in Cloud Computing » in conjunction with DEXA (2017) Conference. He co-organized also several special issues in well-known journals, among them, « On Advances in Soft Computing Applied to Databases and Information Systems » in Fuzzy Sets and Systems Journal (2011), « Post LFA 2015 Conference » in Fuzzy Sets and Systems Journal (2017), « Uncertain Cloud » in International Journal of Approximate Reasoning (2019). 	Miroslav Hudec VSB - Technical University of Ostrava Czech Republic

Brief Bio Miroslav Hudec is an associate professor at the VSB - Technical University of Ostrava and at the University of Economics in Bratislava. He received the Master degree in information sciences and PhD degrees in operations research from the University of Belgrade, where he was recently got a position of visiting professor. His work is mainly focused on fuzzy logic, knowledge discovery, aggregation functions and business intelligence. He is a member of program committees of several international conferences and serves as an editorial board member in several journals.

	Edy Portmann University of Fribourg Switzerland

Brief Bio He's a Swiss Post Professor of Informatics at the Human-IST Institute of the University of Fribourg. His transdisciplinary research focuses on soft and cognitive computing and its application to cities. After an apprenticeship as an electrician, he studied business informatics and got a doctorate in fuzzy systems. Among others, he worked for Swisscom, PwC and EY. In addition, he was also a researcher at the universities of Singapore, Berkeley and Bern.

SCOPE

Fuzzy systems can deal with natural-language data and are therefore very suitable when it comes to characterising the expressions of people for example in social media and to test ethical maturity. In this context, ethicity means a fuzzy measuring of an ethical value, which may vary from 0 (non-ethical) to 1 (fully ethical).
Next, soft computing solutions allows smart participation, efficient data collection, data analyses and mining knowledge in an explainable and understandable way for all urban stakeholders. In addition, emerging soft computing approaches also allow for interactive machine learning in a collaborative manner with citizens able to interact with their data. This results in services that are based on citizens' needs and thus sustainably improve the quality of coexistence.
